Hello student!!
Here are the steps you should follow to become DFO Officer
  1. After 12th  from Science stream one can do Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, geology, statistics, veterinary science and animal husbandry; or who hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, forestry, or agriculture; or a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. And who are between the ages of 21 and 32 as on July 1 of the year of the examination.
  2. After attaining age of 21 years with a  bachelor's degree in mentioned subjects one must appear for IFS examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The recruitment process involves three stages, i.e., written exam prelims, written exam mains and interview. One must clear all the rounds of the recruitment process to become an IFS officer. The selected candidates will be trained for two years at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy.
  3. Then you can join as forest officer
