JEE advanced will not have any prior exams before jEE mains and Moreover, JEE Adavanced shall be strictly online form2018.
There shal be 2 papers inJEE Advanced and it is now compulsory to appear in both the papers – Paper I and Paper II. The exam shall be conducted in online mode for 3 hours on May 20th, 2018. Like the previous years, we have been expecting that JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2018 would also have similiar kind of full marking, partial marking, zero marking and negative marking.
The exam shall be bilinguial viz. English and Hindi and will contain all MCQs and numericals.

IIT Kanpur had not released the exam pattern of JEE Advanced yet. You can have an idea about the exam pattern of JEE Advanced 2018 by going through the exam pattern of the previous years.

General Eligiblity Criteria for JEE Advanced 2018
Age Limit: General Category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1993, while candidates belonging to ST/SC/PwD categories will get 5 years relaxation.
Number of Attempts: Candidates can sit for JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
Qualifying Examination: Aspiring candidates are required to have passed their 12th exam in either 2017 or 2018.
Earlier Admission at IITs/ISM: Candidates who have been earlier admitted to IITs/ISM will not be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2018.
Candidates are required to have qualified JEE Main and meet the required cutoff ranks set by the concerned authorities.
