Hello,
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is typically held in two sessions: one in January and another in April. Both attempts are considered valid and offer candidates two opportunities to perform their best.
- January Attempt: This is usually the first session of the exam, held early in the year. Many students use this attempt to get a feel for the exam environment and assess their preparation. Some students even secure a good rank in this session.
- April Attempt: The second session is generally held in April. This attempt allows students to improve their scores if they were not satisfied with their January performance. It’s also beneficial for students who might have missed the January attempt.
Both attempts are equally important, and the better of the two scores is usually considered for admission to engineering colleges, including the prestigious IITs, NITs, and other institutions.
Hope it helps !
