According to previous records ones rank should not be more than 50,000 to get good nit.

At this moment it is very difficult to predict which NITs will you get or what will be the lowest cutoff for an NIT since the counselling has not yet started nor the round results for this year are out.
However, as per previous trends in cutoff we can say : -
- See for getting the good NITs l ike that of Trichy ,Rourkela or Warangal etc you need to have a rank of around 10,000-15,000 CRL max.
- Now for moderate NITs like NIT Allahabad, NIT Suratkhal or NIT Kurukshetra etc you need a Rank of approx. 22,000-36,000 CRL max.
- And, finally for lower grade NITs like NITs in the northeast, NIT Goa or NIT Srinagar etc you may get a seat at around 40,000-48,000 CRL Max
