Yes you can.
When it comes to clearing JEE mains you can do it without coaching only by self study and studing at school. In fact if you focus on NCERT only then also it is possible to clear it.
Chemistry: If you focus on chemistry from NCERT and have good hold of the subject then you can easily score good marks.
Maths: For maths it would be good if you practice from R.D Sharma or R.S Agarwal along with NCERT.
Physics: physics question are tough, but with understanding of the concepts you can do it. For physics I guess rather than NCERT focus on books like H.C Verma. While answering questions look at the options carefully for their unit.
Coaching institutes don't crack the exams it's the students who do it. Focus ,work hard, practice previous year papers, don't attempt questions you don't know about.
All the best

Hey,
It's quite possible to prepare for JEE without coaching, but you need to work hard and stay motivated.
Be determined and focused - this is the most important step. Set up your goal and be determined to achieve it. Don't get distracted or demotivated. Just work hard and give it your best.
Know the syllabus, question pattern etc inside out.
Set aside a few hours at a particular time everyday as per your preference dedicated only to the exam. During that time don't even think of other things like school and other exams and think only about JEE
Choose the right resources - it is very important to choose the correct books or for your preparation. A lot depends on the resources you choose. Use platforms like YouTube and Quora for suggestions about this. You can also refer to a site called Sastabooks for recommendations of top books for competitive exams and even buy them for the lowest price. You'll get the best books for your preparation with amazing combos and offers at this site.
Prepare a timetable and stick to it. Reward yourself each week if you manage to follow it and punish yourself if you don't. Also set aside some time for relaxation.Whenever you begin to lose focus close your book and watch a video on the topic you're studying on YouTube.
Give regular mock tests - no no of mock tests are enough, just sit for as many mock tests as you can. Identify your weak areas from each test and work to improve on them.
Last but not the least, relax. Try to enjoy the preparation process instead of feeling pressured by it. Just work hard and give it your best. All the best,
