- As per the changes in JEE Main exam pattern, JEE Main 2021 paper 1 will now have a total of 75 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Each has 20 MCQs and 5 numerical questions.
- Numerical questions don't have negative marking.
- JEE Main 2020 for paper 1 (B.Tech) will be conducted for 300 marks, while paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) will be conducted separately for 400 marks each.

In your JEE Mains examination there are a total of 75 question.
And these questions are from three sections/subjects i. e from physics chemistry and mathematics:-
* 25 questions are from physics
* 25 questions are from Chemistry
* 25 questions are from maths
Out of 25 questions in each subject ,20 questions are MCQs and 5 questions are questions with numerical value as the answer and there are no options for the same
Each question carries 4 marks
Exam is conducted for a total of
= 75 x 4
= 300 marks
Marking scheme:-
*Four Marks is awarded for every correct answer
* 1 mark in deducted for every wrong answer MCQs
* no Marks is deducted for wrong answer in case of numerical value question
