The rank in JEE-Mains is calculated on the basis of highest percentile you scored in either of the two.If you got higher percentile in JEE-Mains January then percentile of january will be taken into account and that of April will be ignored.Similarly,If you scored higher percentile in April,then April one will be taken into account and percentile of January will be ignored.
*Rank is calculated on basis of percentile not marks
