In order to get admission into the National Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Information Technology in any part of the country, the candidate must clear his JEE Mains examination with the needed rank for admission.

Some of the best NIT for admission in Computer Science and IT stream are- NIT Rourkela, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal, NIT surathkal, NIT Calicut. The best IIITs include- IIIT Allahabad, IIIT Bhubaneswar, IIIT Hyderabad,etc.
