Hello aspirant,

The National Testing Agency, or NTA, has issued the JEE Main 2024 syllabus and information pamphlet. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are covered in the JEE Main 2024 syllabus for Paper 1 (BTech) and Mathematics; Aptitude Test and Drawing are covered in Paper 2A (BArch) and Mathematics; and Aptitude Test and Planning questions are covered in Paper 2.

Hello,

The syllabus of JEE Mains 2024 is based on the NCERT curriculum for classes 11 and 12, that is, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Physics:

  • Class 11: Units and Measurements, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, etc.
  • Class 12: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current, Optics, Dual Nature of Radiation, and Electronic Devices.

Chemistry:

  • Physical Chemistry: States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Surface Chemistry.
  • Inorganic Chemistry: Periodic Table, Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compounds.
  • Organic Chemistry: Hydrocarbons, Alcohols, Aldehydes, Carboxylic Acids, Polymers and Biomolecules.

Mathematics:

  • Class 11: Sets, Relations, Trigonometry, Calculus (Limits and Differentiation), Probability.
  • Class 12: Matrices, Determinants, Integral Calculus, Vector Algebra and Differential Equations.

Students should refer to NCERT books, practice numerical, and solve previous years' papers.
