hello,
First of all you can not change your cast category because if you do so and appear in more than one session then your one application or both may be cancelled/rejected.
If you haven't got your obc ncl certificate then dont worry you can still choose obc ncl option in the application form and if it needs a certificate to upload then you can upload your old obc ncl certificate and then at the time counselling you can attach the latest obc certificate.
Hope this will help you
all the best!!
If you are opting for OBC-NCL as your Category, you will have to mandatorily upload your Category Certificate. But if you are certain that you would not have it by the time the registration process closes, please fill the application as Geneal Category Candidate and once you get your Category Certificate, you can appear for the remaining sessions under OBC-NCL Category. That should be fine. These are the documents that you need to upload while filling the JEE Mains application form:
- Your recent photograph either in colour or black & white with 80% face but without mask and the face should ve visible including ears against white background.
- Your Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG or JPEG format. No Pdf format will be accepted.
- Size of your scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Size of your scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb
- Size of your scanned copy of category certificate only if applicable should be between 50 kb to 300 kb
- Size of the scanned copy of PwD certificate if applicable should be between 50 kb to 300 kb
