The JEE Main cutoffs has been segregated Into 2 categories: the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoffs. The qualifying cutoff refers to that you have passed and qualified the exam but that doesn't guarantee your admission. Whereas the admission one is that from college to college there is marks range decided for admissions.

For general category your marks should be 260+ which can guarantee your admission anywhere.!
