For the candidates wishing to do engineering from top IITs and NITs, jee mains is a good chance. JEE mains require hardwork and strategic planning other than just intelligence. To clear jee mains, it is important to focus on building paper attempting strategy rather than just studying. Some of the things to follow for jee mains prepration are.

. Know the concept -  you need to make the concept strong , don't just mug up the things , that won't help you solve questions

. Revision - revision is the key to remember things, the more you revise, the things will get imprinted on your brain.

. Give tests - don't wait to finish the whole syllabus, give mock tests. Giving more and more tests will help you a lot  for the final day exam.

. Analyse your performance - only solving the questions, won't help if you don't analyse your performance.  Analysing the performance in tests will help you find out your strong topics and weak topics and accordingly you can prepare for them.

. Solve previous year papers - solving last 5- 10 year previous year question papers will help you a lot with your exam . You will get clear idea about the standard of questions asked and weightage of various topics and repeated questions.
