Hey Aspirant!
Hope you are doing well.
First of all, subject contents cannot be different for two exams. The thing that may differ is the level up to which basic concepts are modified in the form of question.
Both JEE and NEET consider NCERT syllabus as the base. The conceptts are taken from NCERT books for both the exams. Students preparing for these examinations are therefore recommended to go through each and every concept given in the book very carefully.
Now let's see where thing differs. If we see the level of question for physics and chemistry in both the exams, we will find that JEE questions are a bit harder that NEET questions. There is obviously a valid reason for that. NEET exam has 180 questions (60 each section) which need to be solved in 3hours (180 minutes) which on an average gives 1 min for each question.
Whereas in JEE, 90 questions need to be solved in 180 minutes which on an average gives 2 min for each question.
Considering the time for each question, the level of question is decided accordingly. While NEET can directly ask questions about facts and figures, JEE may focus on a small application of the same.
So in an all, subject contents are same, only level of questions differs.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hello Balasubramanian,
The basic course structure and syllabus is broadly the same for the exams you mentioned in the query. But there is definitely a difference in the question pattern. Even though the questions are mainly taken from NCERTs still they expect both type of candidates to have different analytical and reasoning skills this the question are varied. But in a nutshell both have almost similar syllabus and the study material is similar too.
I hope this helps.
