While there is no official notice stating that the Jharkhand State Open School is fake, there have been instances where media outlets have listed it among the fake boards. A major fake degree and mark sheet scam broke in Delhi in December 2017 and the said open school was also among the lot being listed as fake. Plus the open school is not in the list of eligible schools boards to appear for JEE or NEET. I would suggest that you should be careful if you are planning to apply for it.
