Hi,
Thanks for asking careers360,
JIPMER is a fairly easy entrance exam to score, hence the cut off often goes as high as 80% (around 160 of 200). The questions are mostly direct, without any googlies. Physics is mostly application based. Numerical problems comprise a very minor component. For Chemistry, the focus is generally on Organic and Inorganic parts. Physical Chemistry, only fundae are asked. Botany and Zoology syllabi don't vary very vividly from from the PMT syllabus, however minor differences do exist. The question paper is flooded with repeat questions, so solving the previous years' question banks gives you quite a boost. Also, working on your English is of essence as differences in scores are often a result of performance in this field.
All the best!
