Hello,

M.A. admission test will carry a total of 100 marks with the unit wise marks assigned and coverage of topics as indicated below-
Unit I (60 marks) consists of the following-
1. Geomorphology, climatology, oceanography and biogeography.
2. Human geography, economic geography, political geography, Population geography, human ecology and human settlements.
3. Regional geography of India- physiographic divisions, patterns and levels of development of agriculture and industries, growth of population, urbanization, and socio-culture diversity.
4. Geographical information System, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Quantitative Techniques/Statistics.
Unit II (20 marks) consists of Questions on Physical, human regional geography and geography of India.
Unit III (10 marks) consists of Question on Cartography, scale and map projections, topographical maps of India, Methods of data representation
Unit IV (10 marks) consists of Question on Statistical Methods frequency distribution, measures of central tendency and dispersion, Correlation.

Hello Aspirant,

JNU M.A (Geography) placement test has 4 units. Geomorphology, Climatology, Oceanography, and Biogeography are the principle points secured under Unit I. Unit II covers subjects like Human Geography, Regional Geography, and Physical Geography of India. Unit III chiefly includes inquiries on Cartography where as Unit IV spreads inquiries on Statistical Methods.

Test Pattern for JNU M.A (Geography) Entrance Exam

The composed test contains IV units. Kind of inquiries and the imprints granted to every one of these units are unique. There will be 100 inquiries for the test. Complete imprints assigned for the test is 100. Unit I contains numerous decision inquiries for 60 imprints. Unit II covers short answer type questions. Imprints distributed for the unit is 20. Inquiries in Unit III and IV will be requested 10 denotes each.
