There are huge scopes and opportunities after you get a B. Tech in agriculture engineering as agriculture is an integral part of our country.

There are various jobs such as

1. Agronomist- devises means of using the plants for nutrition, energy, grain, etc. With the growing demand for veganism, a plant-based diet is in high demand.
2. Agriculture and Irrigation engineer- it enhances and formulates equipment to safeguard crops from weeds, birds, over-use of fertilizer, adverse weather, and other environmental situations.
3. Agricultural Inspector- makes sure that laws about the management of poultry farm, meat, eggs are obeyed.
4. Agri research scientist works towards the advancement of productivity, agricultural services, manufacture of products, reducing the wastage of crops, etc.
5. If you are going for higher education in your desired field then you can qualify as a lecturer or professor.

There are various other govt jobs available such as

1. Agri field officer in banks who permits various agriculture loans. Exams- IBPS SO.
2. Indian forest service officer- Cracking the UPSC IFS exam, can help you become one.
3. Indian Agricultural Research Institute provides various jobs suitable for this degree.
