Hello, Practically speaking, In India mechatronics is not that good filed for making a carrier but if you outside India such as Germany, USA, UK, Russia you'll find there is a huge demand for mechatronics engineers with good knowledge. This course will fill your hands with the skills whioch can be used in computers, micro-controllers, programmable logical controllers, programming, industrial sensors, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric drives, design of mechanical structure and mechanism and manufacturing process. You can pursue Mtech in Mechatronics. After this you can find opportunities primarily in electronics industry. You can also work in fields like automobile, manufacturing, gas and oil, mining, transport, defence, robotics, aerospace and aviation. The profession of mechatronics includes technicians and engineers. They design and maintain automated equipment. Technicians and engineers work in laboratories, offices or on-site manufacturing plants.

You shall get jobs in it but to get it on upper position stay strong in your qualification and skills you attain. Good Luck.
