Dear Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) are highly ranked after IITs, NITs and IIITs. So admission in these are purely on the basis of merit achieved by the candidates in JEE Main. Through JOSAA counselling one can secure seat in GFTIs when respective cut off are declared.
Also this is Educational eligibilty criteria for GFTIs -
Candidates should be pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of optional subjects from either Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject. General category candidates need to have minimum 75% aggregate marks and reserved category candidates should have at least 65% marks.
