Hello Jhanvi... Greetings of the day!
Journalism course is easier than law in terms of complexity and duration. These are literally two different courses in every possible way. Both fields have their values and academic criteria. The difference is the duration and the future job scope. So, for LAW, you need to study for 5 years straight to complete the degree after that either you can go for LLM or you can start practising in courts. Also, you can handle criminal cases with just a BALLb degree but for that, you need to practise under the senior and experienced advocates, need to learn how to resolve the matters.
See, lawyers are very much in demand because they help in every action like in investments, purchasing land or house. So, the scope is indeed more and the salary ranges around 5 LPA to 7.5 LPA or very accordingly.
Coming to journalism there are many sub courses in this. You can opt for BJMC or even can do tech in TV PRODUCTION AND MEDIA. BJMC is of 3 years, the scope for journalism graduates is also good. An individual can opt for jobs in New agencies and also for various roles.
Starting salary is not that much but it increases with the experience. I would suggest you go with LAW as it has good market value and future scope.
