JSOS that is Jharkhand State of Open School was established in 2014 and registered with the Government of Jharkhand. It has also submitted membership for COBSE (Council of Boards of School Education) in India under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is recognized under the government of Jharkhand and the degree is accepted by the MHROD (Master of Human Resource and Organizational Development), Government of India.
