Hello candidate,
In simple terms, the Home State Quota' stands for reservation for candidates belonging to the state where the particular NIT in question is located, while the 'Other State Quota' reflects for the candidates under reserved categories and belonging to the state other than the one in which that NIT is located. In medical colleges, home state quota and domicile holders are provided 85% of seat reservation in their respective State colleges.
