Following are conditions :

· Sports included in the last Olympic Games

· Sports included in the previous Youth Olympic Games

· List of sports in Asian Games

· Previous sports list in Youth Asian Games

· Sports included in Commonwealth Games

· List of sports in South Asian Federation Games and National Games

EAMCET is an entrance exam through which they get admission into engineering or medicine. In this half % of the reservations are given to the sports quota. The counseling for sports quota will start after the main counseling.

Procedure:
1. The lower rank student will be called first for counseling.
2. Verification of certificates will be done and they are allotted a score.
3. Students who played International tournament are allotted more score.
4. Students who played National are given the next score.
5. Students who played State level tournaments will be given the next priority.

So based on these points a score will be given. The highest scored students will be given the first priority to choose the college.

No as far as Karate is concerned it is a part of the Asian games and the Olympics, which makes it eligible for Sports quota. ... Out of all these styles, only Shotokan Karate is officially recognised as the playable in the Asian Games and in the Olympic Games 2020. However, the rest of them are not recognised. So if you can confirm that you play Shotokan Karate, you will be eligible for sports quota in India.
Out of 60 marks (maximum) in sports trials candidates need to secure at least 30 marks (50% marks) in order to be eligible for GU admissions 2018 under Sports quota. Besides, candidates should not be employed (part-time/ full-time) anywhere while pursuing a UG course at GU.
