Hi,
PGCET ranks are calculated based on the score secured in MBA entrance exam . They do not include degree marks . They give ranking on the basis of the marks on the entrance exam. If two people get same ranking then they might include.
Around 30,000 to 35,000 students appear for PGCET MBA every year and securing a rank under 5,000 is a great achievement for any student. Candidates with a rank of upto 5,000 in Karnataka PGCET MBA 2021 can get admission to some of the top MBA colleges in Karnataka.
Candidate must have passed bachelor's degree (minimum three years duration) or equivalent examination from a UGC/AICTE approved college. General and OBC category candidates must have secured minimum 50 per cent marks in bachelor's degree. For SC/ST and Category I candidates, the minimum marks required in 45 per cent.
For 40 marks the range of rank can be from 11598 to 13604. You can check the below mentioned kink for more details regarding cutoffs, ranks and colleges.
