Dr mahalingham have better ranking and naac A++ accreditation in compare with karpagam college with naac A accreditation.
But talking about placement then karpagam college is much better than mahalingham. Highest salary offer by karpagam is around 12lpa while it is 6 lpa in mahalingham.

Karpagam college of engineering, coimbatore is lot better than Dr Mahalingam isntitute of engineering and technology, coimbatore, As Karpagam engineering colleges has very good placements as compared to Dr Mahalingham engineering college. Also in Karpagham college nearly 70% of the students get placed in c ompanies like Amazon, Hexaware, Infosys, Many companies also visit the campus for placements. Most of the Students here are placed with the salary packages of 3 LPA. in the starting. The college also has very good infrastructure compared to other colleges in Coimbatore.
