Previously,JNU never had a Btech course but from 2018 JNU has opened a new school: “School of engineering” which provides the following courses:
These are all 5 year dual degree programmes.
In 2018 only cse and ece have been started but from 2019 all 5 courses are gonna start.
Admissions in these programmes are done through JEE Mains. No separate counselling takes place.Just enroll in JOSAA and you will be allotted the seat according to your CRL rank.

The different courses B.Tech courses offered by JNU are given below:-
1) B.Tech in Computer Science and Engg.
2) B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engg.
3) B.Tech in Civil and Environmental Engg.
4) B.Tech in Chemical Engg.
5) B.Tech in Mechanical Engg.
All the above courses are integrated with MS or M.Tech in Social Sciences or Humanities or Science or Technology.
For taking admission at JNU you must first appear for the JNU Entrance Examination held by the NTA. You can fill the application form online at admissions.jnu.ac.in.
Candidates are shortlisted on how well they perform and the students who get selected are then called up for the viva-voce.
