kindly give detail for admission in L.L.B. for senior citizen.
Hello,
Generally, senior citizens can take the LLB course because all universities do not have any kind of upper age limit to enroll for the same and the Supreme Court had passed the judgments which removed all barriers regarding age for studying in law colleges. Usually, admission requires a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and passing marks of 45 to 50%. In order to get admission in that, entrance exams are held such as CLAT or LSAT India, some university-level tests are taken in some colleges.
Other colleges may also offer flexible learning facilities such as evening or part-time classes, which might be more suitable for older persons. Admission process includes submission of application forms and verification of documents followed by the performance in entrance tests (if they conduct the test). Seniors citizens will have to make sufficient searches about specific rules pertaining to an individual university and the Bar Council of India's guidelines so that there would be much clarification about the practicing law after the completion of their degree.
Candidates can visit university websites or offices of admissions to know their age-specific policies and the details of how the courses are organized.
