Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be called for Services Selection Board (SSB) for Personality cum Psychometric tests and Intelligence Interview. All India Merit List for final selection will prepared by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) based on candidates' performance in the written exam and SSB Interview.

There are a total 50 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders in Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai for SSC Course under NCC Special Entry.
