Dear Shubham,
At first let's know about cut off marks..
The marks which helps u to know about if u required the examination or not ..
On the other hand it can be explained as the minimum Marks of percentage that candidate requires to getting admission or job...

Now ..ever University has their different way to take their Students..
  1. Some of them take their Students by 12 th results only .
  2. and some of them takes their students by taking an admission test or entrace exam..
  3. some university takes entrace exam results 50% and 12th result 50%, then they published their merit list..
As , u specifically don't say that for which College u want to know it's very difficult to say the exact ..

But, U should absolutely wait for the merit list ..and cut off marks for admission..

HOPE IT HELPS..
HAPPY TO HELP!!
all the best...
