The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, commonly known as KNRUHS, was founded in Warangal in 2014. It is a private university with a focus on health sciences. It has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Medical Council of India, among other organisations (MCI). It contains more than 160 colleges that are connected with the government and the private sector. At the moment, it provides undergraduate, graduate, super speciality, and certificate programmes in a variety of fields, including Health Sciences, which includes Allopathy (Modern Medicine), Dental Surgery, Homeopathy, Indian Systems of Medicine, and Paramedical studies.

Admissions to all of the programmes are done under the supervision of the Government of Telangana, as stated above. Candidates who want to apply for any of the programmes must do so in person at the admissions office. Details on KNRUHS admissions are provided in the sections below, organised by course:

Courses for Undergraduates

NEET-UG cut-off scores are used to determine admission to the MBSS, BDS, BHMS, BSc (Nursing), and Post Basic BSc (Nursing) programmes. Admission to the BPT and BSc (MLT) programmes is determined on a merit basis.
Participants in the Science stream who have passed their Class 12 exams are eligible to apply for any of the UG and PG programmes offered.

Admission to MD and MS programmes is based on the NEET PG/AIAPGET cutoff scores. Admissions to MDS programmes are based on the NEET MDS test.
Admission to MSc, MPT, and other programmes is based on academic achievement.
A applicant who wishes to apply for any of the postgraduate courses must have earned a bachelor's degree in the appropriate field.


Courses with a high level of specialisation

Admission to the DM and MCh programmes is contingent on receiving a passing score on the NEET SS.
A applicant must have passed the MD and MS exams in order to enrol for the DM and MCh programmes, which are also diploma courses.

Admission to diploma programmes is based on a merit-based system.
Diploma programmes are open to those who have passed Class 12 and are looking to further their education.
Courses in PDF format

Admission to the PDF programme is based on academic achievement.
A candidate who wishes to apply for the PDF programme must have earned a PhD in the appropriate field.
