NDA – National Defence Academy is a national level exam conducted by UPSC twice a year for selecting candidates for Officer’s level jobs in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Candidates who between 16.5 and 19.5 year of age and have passed or appearing class 12 exam can appear for this exam. The exam has two papers Mathematics and General Aptitude Test (GAT) and candidates have to secure qualifying marks in each paper to get selected for next round of selection process i.e. SSB. As per last year NDA cut off analysis, candidates have to at least 25% in each paper to qualify the written test. In 2017 the qualifying is 342 out 900 while in 2016 it is 288 marks. It is not necessary that you have to qualify Maths first then your GAT paper will be checked. To qualify NDA you have to secure overall cut off score.
