As you said you want to give aiims entrance test with doing coaching. So, yes dear student you can prepare for aiims by yourself and give aiims . You can prepare yourself with consistent smart work and time management. You have to be focused on the weightage of the chapters that are ought to be important for this upcoming entrance test of aiims . You can definitely prepare for aiims in 7 months . All you have to do is learn ncert by heart. Then do the last 10 years paper of aiims and maybe neet also. You can also practice physics and chemistry mcq of  engineering exams .

• You can do physics from obviously ncert , hc verma for theory and objective of dc pandey for mcq.

• You can do chemistry from ncert, dinesh chemistry, modern abc

• You can do biology from ncert , objective by dinesh.

Its not very necessary to join a test series but it will help you to know where you stand and what topics you lag in .

yes definitely you can crack your aiims exam in 7 month with the right guidance(good coaching) and preparation for that you have to start studying right today with your all effort keep yourself motivated and do a lot of a practice of every small topic of your syllabus go deeply with your syllabus

I don't want to discourage you but AIIMS is tough and you will face competition with lakhs of students and thus your preparation should be of top level to get admission in AIIMS so students take coachings and give test series but if you think you can clear the exam without coaching then ofcourse you should do it. But if you don't have financial problems then join some coachings it will boost your preparation.
