Dear student,

It does not matter in which year you are in any college with any degrees but you have to keep in mind that attempts are limited for JEE Main and JEE advanced.

Students have 3 years for JEE Main, first the year in which he/she is passing 12th and next two successive year.

Whereas for JEE Advanced you get one less year, that means you do not get two successive years chances but you get only one year after the year you passed 12th.

Now as you have not mentioned your passing year so I cannot tell you exactly if you are eligible or not but you can do analysis on the basis of above discussion know about your eligibility.

To know more about JEE Main eligibilty criteria, you can go through the link below.

To know the same for JEE Advanced, you can visit the link below.

I hope this information helps you.

All the very best!!

Hi

No, you won't be eligible for jee advanced in your btech 2nd year but will be eligible for jee main

This is because,

One has a total of two attempts for JEE advanced over two consecutive years starting from the year of appearing for 12th board examination i. e as per , eligibility criteria one is eligible for JEE advanced examination only in the year in which he or she appears for 12th board examination and the next year following it.

So, you were eligible for jee advanced in 12th passing year and in your 1st year of btech only .

You can check detailed eligibility criteria of JEE advanced by visiting our page the link for the same page is provided below

If I tell you about Jee main then,

One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.

So, you were eligible for jee main in 12th passing year, in yout 1st year of btech and also eligible in 2nd year of btech .

Thankyou
