Yes you can take admission in engineering

First you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for taking admission in any B.tech college

There are different exams like JEE MAIN , JEE ADVANCE, UPSEE etc,

JEE MAIN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates will be considered eligible to appear in JEE MAIN on the basis of the following parameters, provided, they fulfil them all:

Date of birth

Qualifying exam 10+2 or equivalent exam

Marks secured in qualifying exam

FOR JEE ADVANCE

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2019 must qualify JEE Main 2019 and secure a position among the top 2,24,000 candidates (including all categories).

The percentages of various categories are: OBC-NCL (27%), SC (15%), ST (7.5%) and Open Category (50.5%). Within each of these categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates.

As per the recent order by Supreme Court, candidates of 25 years or older can also apply for JEE Advanced 2019. However, the admissions of such candidates will be provisional until the final outcome.

A candidate gets a maximum of two attempts in consecutive years to appear for JEE Advanced.

Candidates should not have appeared for JEE Advanced 2017 or earlier.

The candidates applying for JEE Advanced 2019 should have appeared in Class 12 in 2018 or 2019 for the first time.

FOR UPSEE

Candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University.

They must have passed without grace in each of the compulsory subjects and one optional subject to fill the UPSEE 2019 Application Form.

Students must have secured minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST category) in aggregate in the required three subjects.

Those candidates eligible for admission in the B.Tech programme, are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech. (Biotechnology).

FOR LATERAL ENTRY

Lateral entry in B.Tech. for Engg. Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard, is offered in the institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow only.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR FEE WAIVER SEATS

Economically weaker meritorious candidates applying for B.Tech/ B.Pharm/B.HMCT/B.FAD/BFA courses can get admission to fee waiver seats in all institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow as per AICTE notification fee. No tuition fee will be charged from these candidates. Fee Waiver seats will be maximum of 5% of the approved intake in the particular course.
