Accounting for previous year cuttoffs I don't think there's even a slight chance for you to get admission in NITs and even if you get in North- Eastern NITs you will not get a good branch.



If you were in any other category you might have a good or a brilliant chance of getting a branch in top 10 NITs. But sorry brother, you are in general category.



You are always welcomed for some very good private institutes. Or if you think you can perform really better than this after a dropout, then you should take a drop. Study well, score good and go to a good institute.



Rank less than 20K for branches in top NITs.



Rank less than 40K for branches in other NITs



Less than this doesn't differ much if you get 60K or 100K.
