last year i got 84 percentile in jee mains is it a good percentile like i know that i will not get in nit but is it a good percentile like can i write jee advance.i got 179000 rank and my caste was general caste?

Hi.
With your rank, you stand a very less chance to get into any top college. And it seems you want to appear for jee advanced. But I would consider that a bad choice. Since you have a less rank, you can appear for you state councelling and get a pretty good college in your desired course. That should be the best option for you.
So do apply for state councelling.
