last year I had a rank 7738 in WBJEE , is it possible to improve the rank?

Hi dear hope you are doing well just you have enough time from right now to improve yourself in West Bengal joint entrance exam 2020. Solved previous year paper it will give you idea about the coming paper. Questions rarely repeat in WBJEE.
For inorganic sections in chemistry you can blindly believe NCERT book. Question will be directly from NCERT. If you have enough time then solve the maths section of IIT JEE advanced single correct questions. Very less but there is a probability that questions will be repeat from there.
