So Admission to BAMS is based on marks in NEET exam.
Cutoff is based on No. Of factors.
Type of College - There are 3 types of Colleges for BAMS
1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000
2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.
3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.
You can also get for lower marks with donation or some management quota or Vacancy quota
Now talking about Gujarat,
first student who secured the seat of government ayurveda college of bhavnagar got 370 marks(general catogary) he/she can take admission in semi- government college for mbbs but he/she wants to come in aayurveda (in semi- government you have to pay 50% money if you are boy and if you are girl you have to pay nothing) that's the benefits to be a girl just kidding :0
I got 311 marks in neet last year and I am from general catogary.the last student who secured seat(she is from general catogory)got around 275 marks and last student from St catogory got 150 marks..(I got more than double than this) government
