Hi,
Mechanical engineering is the application of mechanical principles and processes to design, manufacture, and maintain machines that are used in manufacturing industries. Mechanical engineers use their knowledge of mechanics, materials science, kinematics ,and other engineering disciplines to develop the machinery needed for designing a machine or device. They also use these same skills to analyze how the machine will behave under its own power as well as under the influence of external forces such as gravity or wind. The discipline has applications in many different areas including aerospace , automotive , biomedical , civil engineering , chemical processing , construction industry, energy production and transmission (including renewable energy sources), mining and metallurgy.
