Since you have not mentioned any course, as i suppose mentioned in your profile your interest is medicine,so your question will also be about Medicine.Lets move on to the common choice of students.
MBBS and BDS
If you are from medical stream i.e science PCB in class 12th, and wish to pursue career in medicine then you must have to appear in the medical entrance exam which is NEET UG.
NEET is a national level Entrance test for all the MBBS and BDS aspirants. It is the only accepted entrance exam for MBBS and BDS admission across India. The application forms submission for NEET has already been closed. The exam will be conducted on 5thof may 2019 in single shift.
Eligibility for NEET is that the candidate must have to qualify class 12thexam withminimum 50% aggregate with subjects Physics, Chemistry, And Biology/ Biotechnology.
The NEET scores are accepted by all the government and private medical and dental colleges in india for admission to undergraduate courses.
To secure a seat in government college one has to have a high target as competition is very high. So it is suggested that one must score around 560-600 and above in general category for being on a safe side.
The syllabus would include all the topics being taught in class 11thand 12th. The exam would be for 3 hours duration and will have 180 questions in total out of which 45 question each for physics and chemistry and 90 questions will be from biology.4 marks will be awarded for correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. Apart from MBBS and BDS, NEET scores will be used to get admission to medical courses like BHMS, BAMS, BUMS etc. You will need to apply separately for these courses in the colleges and put forward your neet score for admission.
Other than NEET there are only 2 more entrance exams for Medical Aspirants. They are as follows.
i) AIIMS MBBS It is the entrance exam for getting admission into MBBS course in All India Institute of Medical Science. The exam will be conducted on 25thand 26thMay 2019 in 2 shifts each day. The application forms are open for registration and you can fill up the forms till 14thof January. The Eligibility would be, the candidate must have to qualify class 12thexam with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology and score a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.The AIIMS MBBS exam is tough and competition is very high. So to get a seat one has to score a very very high percentile.
The syllabus will be the topics from class 11thand 12th. The exam will be for 3.5 hours duration and is computer based test. It will have 200 questions where 1 marks will be awarded for correct answer and 1/3 marks deducted for a wrong answer. 60 questions each will be asked from Physics, chemistry and biology and along with this 10 question will be for GK current affairs and 10 question will be logical reasoning.

ii) JIPMER UG-This is another undergraduate entrance exam for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in JIPMER puducherry. The application forms are not yet released and will be starting in the month of March. The eligibility would be qualifying class 12thwith Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 55% marks in aggregate. The syllabus includes topics taught in class 11thand 12th.
The exam would be computer based and will be for 2.5 hour duration. The paper will include 200 questions and is supposed to be conducted on 2ndJune 2019 in 2 shifts. Paper has 60 questions each form Physics, Chemistry and Biology, 10 questions each from GK and logical reasoning. 4 marks will be awarded for correct Answer and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.

Apart from the above mentioned courses, A student from science stream can go for courses like BSc degree in any of the interested subject like Bsc Biology, Bsc. Chemistry, Bsc Biotechnology, Bsc Forensic Science etc.
For these courses, You will have to directly apply to colleges and the admission is generally based on class 12thscores. For some universities like IPU new delhi, The university conducts its own entrance exam and admission is given on the basis of marks scored in entrance exam of the university itself.
Eligibility for BSc courses would be qualifying class 12thwith minimum 50% aggregate with science stream.
You will require higher studies for more job opportunities. So after completing BSc you will have to go for MSc. You can also choose MBA or MTech also. And further if you wish to go into research field PhDs or MPhill degrees is an option.
Scope of these courses will basically depend on the subject you are specialised in. For example if you study forensic science, You can become a forensic scientist, researcher, Lecturer, etc. The employment areas aregovt bodies, CBI, Research Labs, Forensic Labs, Educational Institutions etc.
Salary will vary from course to course. In general for Freshers with a masters degree the average packages would range from 1 to 4 lakh per year and will gradually increase with increasing experience.
Other than BSc degress, You can also go for LAW courses. LLB is the basic course. For LLB you need to have a bachelors degree first. Nowadays its very common to study 5 year integrated LLB course i.e BA-LLB, BBA-LLB or even BSc- LLB. CLAT is the most common entrance exam for LAW courses.
Apart from this you can also opt for NDA, fashion designing, Bcom, BBA. So it will totally depend on your interest that which type of course would you like to apply for other than MBBS.If its only about MBBS then forms you can fill will be NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER.
