Like colleges under JOSAA have a minimum criterion of 75% in CBSE or you must be in top 20 percentile in your board, after that they don't care how much you have scored. Other engineering colleges also have some minimum marks that you have to score then only they will give you admission according to your JEE marks. So be specific of which college you want the information.

According to JOSAA, if your result is above 75% or you come in the top 20 percentile in the 12th examinations ,then you are eligible for JOSAA counselling..

But don't loose hopes if you fail to meet the above criteria as there are many colleges that doesn't come under josaa

Councelling 1.) Jamia milia institute is one of them 2) JNAFAU, Hyderabad and some of the private colleges also takes admission through jee main score and also by other papers like 1 lpu,Jalandhar,  and many more

All colleges require your 12th marks for admission process and there is no college that it doesn't require 12th marks relying only on JEE performance. You have to submit your 12th marks as it is included in the eligibility criteria for every college admissions.
