Hi,
Chemistry is the scoring part of jee.In previous year trends all the syllabus have been touched in jee main. Mostly all domain of chemistry have equal weightage and it varies from slot to slot.
A stronger inorganic side is a safer side.
Inorganic-All the topics are important and NCERT is more than enough. Also class 12 portions have a bit more weightage and topics like environmental chemistry and chemistry in everyday life are also important.
Organic-Carbonyl group and acid have higher weightage.Alcohols and amines are also equally important.
GOC and Biomolecules are also important as many questions have come from this part.
Physical-Equilibrium and redox, Thermodynamics and thermochemistry ,Electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, Atomic structure.(other parts are also important but lesser weightage when compared to these topics)
Mostly questions may be interrelated so it is important to have a grip over all the topics. And NCERT is enough to tackle any question of chemistry

Good luck!!
Hello aspirant, to get a good score in chemistry in JEE mains, the first and most important thing to study NCERT books for class 11 and 12 thoroughly. JEE syllabus for chemistry is divided into 3 main categories - physical, inorganic and organic.
Some chapters in chemistry with high weightage are -
P-block
Coordination compound
Alcohol, phenols and ether
Atomic structure
General Organic Chemistry
Solution and colligative properties
Chemical kinetics
Electrochemistry
Apart from these some highly scoring chapters are ores and metallurgy, polymers, biomolecules and chemistry in everyday life.
For best preparation study previous year questions of chemistry and give many mock tests to find your weak chapters and improve on them.
