In today's competitive world these olympiad examinations help the student in identifying his/her real potential. It brings the student's attention towards his/her weaker areas. So, here is the list of some school level olympiads in which you can appear.

1. International Olympiad of Mathematics (IOM)

It is three tier examination :

• Tier 1 :- All students studying in class 1st to 12th are eligible to take part in it .
• Tier 2 :- Top 1000 rank holders of Tier 1 from each class will sit in this tier.
• Tier 3 :- All students securing 1st rank in Tier 2 from class 6th to 12th are eligible to sit in this tier.

Now we will talk about prizes of IOM :

• Tier 1 :-

1. 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank holders from all classes of each school will be rewarded with Gold medal, Silver medal, Bronze medal respectively. They should obtain atleast 50% marks.
2. 4th to 10th rank holders of each class will be rewarded with wrist watches.
3. 11th to 25th rank holders of each class will be rewarded with exciting gifts.
4. All participants will be rewarded with certificates.

• Tier 2 :-

1. The 1st rank holder from class 12th will get Rs.100000/- cash prize along with the winner trophy.
2. The 1st rank holder from class 11th will get Rs.50000/- cash prize along with the winner trophy.
3. The 1st rank holder from class 1st to 10th will get Rs.15000/- cash prize along with the winner trophy.
4. All 2nd and 3rd rank holders will get Rs.10000/- and Rs.5000/- cash prize along with the winner trophy.
5. All participants will get a participation certificate.

• Tier 3 :-

1. Top 2 rank holders of this tier will be sent for educational excursion on NASA.

2. International Olympiad of Science (IOS)

It is also a three tier exam like IOM. All prizes and eligibility criteria are the same as IOM. Only the field of interest is different.

3. International Informatics Olympiad (IIO)

Like all other olympiads it is also a three tier exam. It is totally based on the field of Computer Science. For more information like prizes, eligibility,etc. you can check through it's website (https://www.silverzone.org/SubjectInfo/iio) .

4. International Olympiad of English Language (IOEL)

It is a test for students so that they can check their competency and knowledge in English Language. It is recommended for every student studying English language.

Similarly there are number of olympiads held at national level as well as international level for school students like Unified Cyber Olympiad (UCO), National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), International Talent Hunt Olympiad (ITHO) and many more. So go for it, choose appropriate one for you and start practicing for that.
