There are various options that you can try to get your dream job. Do not think about how was your college, I have seen so many people from a very normal college to get a job of 10lpa or 15 lpa and they are now at a very good position in the company (technical manager). Some of the options which I can tell you are:

Make your goals: You are taught every thing in the college,well not taught, but you study, like DS, Java, Technical writing, BI, Web development, Android and the list goes on. So, pick one subject or topic. And just start learning everything about it. Make yourself best in that subject. But do not forget others try to have a little bit knowledge about those subjects too.

Internships and Training: Whenever you are getting time of one month or more try to go for internships and training. It does not matter if they are paid or not. You just apply to them to get exposure and experience. Believe me, there is nothing better than learning from experience.

Once you reach in your final year, You will an impressive resume, Apply for off campus jobs. If you are fresher do not hesitate in getting job of 7–8 lpa. believe me they are good. Once you’ll go to company and get experience. You’ll be getting the amount you are looking for.
