Since you've not mentioned a particular course I am assuming you're asking about MA, MSc, M.Com etc. In these courses you have objective type questions abd there is no negative marking as per my knowledge, to prepare for pg entrance just go through the ug syllabus of respective course and University and other major central and state university and prepare accordingly.
