AILET 2018, was conducted on May 6, 2018. National Law University Delhi (NLU-D) will determine cutoff of AILET 2018 on May 24 for admissions to five-year integrated and postgraduate law programmes.
AILET 2018 cutoff is minimum marks required for getting shortlisted for admissions to BA LLB and LLM programmes in the NLU. AILET cutoff can also be considered as the last rank obtained by an All India Law Entrance Test taker for BA LLB and LLM programme admissions. NLU Delhi organises counselling for undergraduate and postgraduate law admissions on the basis of AILET cutoff marks (or AILET cutoff rank). NLU Delhi will be determining AILET cutoff 2018 for each law programme and also for every category including General, Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD) and Kashmiri Migrants (KM). The NLU Delhi will also prepare an AILET merit list for the admission process which will be based on AILET cut-offs as determined by the NLU.
Candidates may note that the NLU Delhi will not be announcing the cut-off of AILET 2018 officially. The All India Law Entrance Test qualified candidates shortlisted for admissions based on AILET 2018 Cut off will be sent an admission call letter by the National Law University Delhi .
Last year, the General category candidates require scoring at least 89 marks out of 150 for admissions to BA LLB programme, whereas those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) needed to have 71 and 68 marks, respectively. In addition to this, the Persons with Disability (PwD) require at least 74 marks and Kashmiri Migrants scoring a minimum of 78 marks for being shortlisted for BA LLB admissions.
AILET 2018 cut-off is, however, expected to be scaled more than that of the previous year.
Further, as per the AILET cut-off of the year 2015, a minimum of 98 marks was to be scored by General category candidates, 75 for SC, 72 for ST and 85 for those belonging to PwD category.
