As you didn't mention the name of the particular llb entrance exam . I am just giving the syllabus for few of the llb entrance exam. Law entrance exams in India are conducted at a national, state, and university level. The entrance exam for Law lets the students choose from a variety of courses such as LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, and others.
1. CLAT : Every year approximately 2500 UG and 720 PG law seats are offered by the participating 22 NLUs through CLAT. The eligibility for CLAT 2022 , the candidate must qualify the class 12th with a minimum 45% marks. there is no age limit to apply for CLAT 2022 . the syllabus for clat exam will be English Language, Quantitative Techniques, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Legal Reasoning. exam duration is 120 minutes and the total marks is 150 and there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark. mode of examination is online.
2. SLAT
Slat is a university level examination conducted by symbiosis international university. the syllabus for exam will be Logical Reasoning- 12 questions, Reading Comprehension- 12 questions, Analytical Reasoning- 12 questions, General Knowledge- 12 questions, Legal Reasoning- 12 questions, Written Ability Test. he exam consists of 60 marks duration of 60 minutes followed by 30 minutes for WAT with no negative marking.
3. AILET
AILET is for NLU Delhi, will nearly accept 123 candidates this year. the eligibility criteria for the exam is one must have passed the intermediate exam with a minimum of 50 % marks. There is no age limit for AILET 2022 . the syllabus for the exam will be English- 35 questions, Logical Reasoning- 35 questions, Legal Aptitude- 35 questions, General Knowledge- 35 questions, Elementary Mathematics. this exam has the multiple choice questions of 150 marks with negative marking 0.25 marks with a duration of 1hour 30 minutes. mode of examination is offline
This will be the general syllabus for any llb entrance exam but there may be few changes.
