Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Graduation (any stream) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or LSAT.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. For SC ST applicants there is 5 percent relaxation while there is 3 percent relaxation for the OBC candidates. In addition to it, for North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants,) there is 5 percent relaxation.

The LPU students were invited by Punjab Police for an internship where they were taught the nuances of investigation. The university has an MOU with NLSIU Bangalore for various academic PROGRAMs. The highest salary last year was 6.2 LPA and 5.1 LPA was the average salary.
