Dear Aspirant,

NTA haven't created any such guidelines stating that the admit card should be a colour print.
So Black and White Printout will also work if your photo and all the relevant details are clearly readable.

if time permits, It is recommended to carry a colour print of admit card so that you will not fall in trouble incase if the photo and details in your black and white Printout aren't not readable or clear.

Hello Aspirant,

No there would be no any problem but it is preferred to take color print out so that the image present in it should be clearly visible and if you have already taken b&w print out then also if possible take color print to avoid any complication at the center.

JEE-Main 2021 April session(session 3) is being conducted from July 20th-27th and NTA has issued the guidelines along with the JEE-Main 2021 Admit card for Exam day for the candidates and those all guidelines are described below :-

The candidate should carry the following things :-

  • Admit Card
  • One original valid photo identity proof issued by the government that can either be PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar card with photograph,E-Aadhar/Ration Card/Aadhaar enrollment number with photo.
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded in the online application form of JEE Main 2021). This photograph will be required by the invigilator to paste it on the attendance sheet at the centre.
  • Duly filled in self declaration form (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website.
  • Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml) also it will be provided at the examiantion center as well.
  • Personal transparent water bottle.
  • Mask and gloves.
  • For drawing test (B.Arch paper part 3) - candidates have to bring their own geometry box, pencils, erasers, colour pencils/ crayons.
  • If you are diabetic then authorities have allowed carrying eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) and transparent water bottle. But note that no candidate is allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwich into the examination hall.

Items which are prohibited at exam center are also enlisted below :-

Pen/Pencil, electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, slide rules, log tables, printed or written material, bits of papers, pager, or any other device.
