Hi Sulekha,

Yes,  the medhavi scheme is still available in 2019 as it was in previous years.

Under this, the m.p.govt.avail all the fee of students by providing 100% scholarships for both government and private colleges for almost all courses like: mbbs, engineering, b.sc;b.com;etc.

Following are the eligibility criteria for this scheme :-

1.students of m.p.board has to secure 75% or above in ther 12th; while students of cbse board has to score 85% or above from recpgnised schools.

2.student has to be a resident of m.p with proper m.p.domicile as proof

3.annual income of parents of such students has ti be less than 6 lakhs

4.the colleges for which you apply has to be govt.recognised or affiliated.

So,any student fulfilling all these eligibility criteria can apply for the madhavi scheme 2019 to get 100% scholarship for higher studies.

Also, right now the registrations for this scheme are started so go and grab your chance too.

Good luck.

Hi Sulekha, If you noticed my answer carefully then even i said that from 19th June the counselling starts for neet in m.p.I didn't said that this is m.p.state counselling only. The state counselling basically starts after completion of 1st rounds if you know. All states are given particular dates for the opening of all India level counselling separately to avoid issues. For ex.: in assam and tamil nadu the counselling is started and is in process.Similarly in m.p.it will took place from 19th.

Hi Sulekha, Yes with 498 marks your chances of getting a govt.seat for mbbs is bit difficult the only option is to just try your luck out through 2nd round counsellings. But yes, you can get a private seat with such marks. And to avail the benifits of medhavi vidhyarthi yojana 2019, first of all it is necessary for you to grab a seat and then mention about this seat in your medhavi application for updates and scholarships.

Hi Sulekha, Don't go panic, each year rules and regulations get changed for such a competitive exams. So,i think this time also the pattern got change for the medhavi scheme. Now,all you have to do is go through your counselling process and as soon as you get a seat alloted for mbbs/bds in any medical college, then just go to the official website of nedhavi scheme and fill the form separately. In this form you have to mention the details of your alloyed sest and college for the scholarship.Good luck.
